Palestinian hospitality

Let me show u the good hospitality recognition of the Palestinians.
Those people that didn't learn the first time (1975-1992) that lebanon is theres to play with.
But started again to burn Lebanon.

1. They stole a bank in northern Lebanon

2. They killed around 10 Lebanese army soldiers in cold blood (they dicapitulated them)

3. The army retaliated brutally

4. The war on terror in Lebanon had a name war on "Fate7 el Islam" but what did the other Palestinians, they protested, against the people that gave them all, that sacrificed a country for them, look what the other Palestinian gangs did.

They protested

They Bombed our Malls

They threatened the Lebanese Army

5. For humanitarian reasons the army compromised a cease fire to remove the dead and the injured from the street so the Palestinians in the middle of the cease fire ceased control of a Mosque containing the red cross and the UN HQ's in the camp.

That's why we love to hate the Palestinians.

Ezou,

I know you don't mean it, but you have to be a little bit more accurate with your choice of words.

Obviously you cannot just say "Palestinians". These are Palestinian terrorists. They are not born this way.

Sadly, ideology drives many of them (but far from all of them) down this path...

Shlemazl u may be right, but out of observation moderate Palestinians that don't want to fight, kill and steal anymore aren't Palestinians anymore, they acquired other nationalities, even Israelian ones and they say that they are from Palestinian origins but the ones that still are Palestinians are the ones that won't accept peace in any form. They ruined many countries and we didn't learn to stop them till now.

Israeli Arabs who did not leave in '48 are different; most don't identify as "Palestinians".

You have a point that for a lot of Palestinians perpetual violence has become the objective in itself and that their leaders just aren't looking for peace.

I know that 90% of people in Gaza support Hamas which speaks for itself. It's a problem that will fester forever. Looks like Lebanon has the same issue.

However West Bank is different - there are a lot of people that don't want this eternal violence. They want peace on reasonable terms, don't like the terrorists running around their land and they want to get on with their lives. Sadly, they can't control their terrorists.

It may be difficult for them to get another citizenship, particularly for poorer uneducated people.

the problem will continue cuz as u know if u want to sabotage 1 person among 100000000 can ruin major peace deals.
so unless EVERYONE is convinced of the necessity of peace, violence will continue, in Lebanon and in Israel.

Vivid post, ezou.

My father lived in Beirut but fled with his siblings during the civil war.

My aunt and uncle still watch LBC television via cable everynight.

Cool Blog, I'm adding you to my blogRoll.

thanks Jacob,
actually it's our lose that we (the lebanese) lost the majority of the Jews in the past wars (I won't call it civil war) we even used to have a parliament deputy representing the minorities, considered at the time as for the Jews and all the small sects in Lebanon.
Anyway the are some efforts of respect and trust restoration in Lebanon http://thejewsoflebanon.org/me/
It really really meant to me when u said ur aunt and uncle still watch the LBC (our TV :D).
PS: i've added ur blog to my blogRoll too.
